Pinoy Sports Idols is a reality-based competition that aims to promote grass-roots sports in the country by featuring young and talented athletes from different parts of the Philippines-- Sponsored by PAGCOR, the show awards scholarships to young athletes who has proven themselves rightful of the title Pinoy Sports Idol. Hosted by taekwondo champion and famous commercial endorser Japoy Lizardo, the show is aired in NBN 4, Saturdays, 1:00PM to 1:30PM

Pinoy Sports Idol awarded at the 2009 Philippine Sportswriters Association awards night




Pinoy Sports Idols, produced by Timeline Digital Production, Inc. and sponsored by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR), was acknowledged at the 2009 Philippine Sportswriters Association awards night for its continues contribution to the promotion of sports int the country. 

The awards night, which was held at the Manila Pavilion Hotel last February 20, 2009, was made possible through the cooperation of the San Miguel Corporation.
